Brian and Candice Simmons are pioneers in ministry, carrying a message of awakening and revival to the nations for over 40 years. As missionaries, they planted churches among the Paya-Kuna people in Central America, assisting in Bible translation and leadership development.  

Brian is the lead translator of *The Passion Translation® (TPT)*, a heart-level rendering of Scripture that expresses God’s love in a fresh, powerful way. He is currently translating the Old Testament, with recent releases including *Genesis: Firstfruits* and *Isaiah: The Vision.*  
Together, Brian and Candice founded Passion & Fire Ministries and travel worldwide as Bible teachers, equipping believers to encounter Christ. Brian is also the author of numerous devotionals and Bible studies, including *I Hear His Whisper* and *Prayers on Fire.*  

Married for over 48 years, they have three children, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, living as spiritual parents to this generation.
